Day 9

Dear Stylelife Challenger,

The pace is about to pick up here and I’m going to start giving you more advanced material, so I want to make sure that no Challengers get left behind.

Thus, today is REVIEW day.

Here is your Stylelife Challenge Assignment for July 9th.

TASK 1

Look over the previous week’s assignments.

Is there any task you missed?

Is there any task that you feel you didn’t complete?

Is there any task you didn’t perform to your satisfaction?

Is there any task you’d like to do again?

Have you backslid? Do you need to correct your vocal projection, posture, or grooming again?

Take this opportunity to explore or repeat whatever previous assignments you need to.

Re-read your goals and mission statement.

Your goal is to make sure you're proficient in and comfortable with all the social-interaction exercises previously given.

Feel free to ask questions on the Stylelife Challenge board if you need help with anything already covered. Preface your post with the word CHALLENGED so that it can receive prompt attention from the moderators and your fellow Challengers.

TASK 2

If, yesterday, during the task to open five people, you only approached women who were alone, today you should repeat the exercise.

If yesterday, during the opener task, none of the women or groups you approached contained men, you should repeat the exercise.

This time approach three groups of three people or more containing at least one woman. At least two of the groups you approach should include men as well as women.

This may sound more intimidating to you, but in practice it’s actually easier. The key is to focus most of your attention on the man or men in the group initially, and to make sure that throughout the interaction he always feels like he is being paid attention to and respected.

TASK 3

Read the following Stylelife book report by JGatz on evolution and mating:
